About Us

AMAT provide a tailored, strength based approach for support and advocacy for residents enabling them to:

  • access services and helping to obtain/maintain benefits
  • address physical and mental well-being
  • address substance misuse
  • improve social skills
  • address debt and improve finances and budgeting
  • engage in productive activities and job opportunities
  • access resettlement/move on accommodation

All residents will receive an assessment of needs and associated risks to:

  • ensure support and risk management plans, involve the resident and take full account of their views, preferences and aspirations, which are reviewed regularly on a consistent and systematic basis
  • develop social enterprises that will engage services users as volunteers
  • improve access for service users to IT services and their ability to job search
  • commit to the safeguarding and welfare of our residents and other people/children who visit our service, including measures to prevent or minimise the potential abuse from occurring
  • work in collaboration with other services
  • carry out additional outreach services
  • share best practice across the sector
