We provide safe, secure and suitable accommodation for any adult who might be experiencing homelessness in Medway or Kent.

The majority of our accommodation is intensively managed, meaning that someone from AMAT UK will attend the communal areas of the property every day.

AMAT UK is open 7 days a week, 365 days a year.

The office is staffed from 08.30 to 00.30.  There is an on-call service that covers 00.30 to 08.30, which is facilitated by staff living on-site.

Our staff response times are therefore very quick to any concerns residents or the local community might have. Our centrally located offices ensure that concerns can be dealt with rapidly.

We will consider housing those who may have already been excluded from other projects. AMAT does not exclude anyone permanently as we believe that people need the opportunity to change. In order to achieve change, AMAT works effectively with relevant key agencies and exercises an ethic of flexibility, bearing in mind that no two individuals are the same.  We will also consider housing couples.

Here at AMAT UK we recognise the powerful emotional support a pet provides. That is why we will house people who already have pets in our accommodation.  We are one of a few homeless organisations nationally to accept pets.
