Peer Mentor Roles

Peer Mentor Roles at AMAT:

AMAT trains its more experienced residents in Peer Mentoring techniques; Mentors welcome both existing and new residents to the 411 HUB and its service partners.

Peer mentors also, through induction and the Somewhere Safe To Stay (SSTS) service, give homeless individuals companionship, guidance, the capacity and confidence boost that provide reassurance of changes for the better.

The Peer Mentors are able to receive a qualification in this position, offered through the 411 HUB and its partner Medway Adult Education.

We currently have Peer Mentor opportunities in the following areas of our service:
- Welcoming
- Hub
- Reception

How you can help AMAT

There are lots of ways in which you can help support AMAT to ensure that we can continue to provide our support to the homeless and vulnerable people in Medway.
